Aunt Gene was one of my favorites!! That smile of hers would light up a room before she even walked through the door. Those eyes, those loving no nonsense eyes. Out of love she told it like it was. Then she would give you that little nod of her head. Oh what a precious spirit filled woman. I loved the time we had when she and JoAnn came to Utah. That was by far the best time of my life. Three women loose in Utah. Ha We had so much fun. She presented me with a crochet white afghan that she had made. It is beautiful. So glad that Kenny and Candy took me to see Aunt Gene the last time I was home. WOW what a family reunion she is having with PaPa, Roger and all the rest that have gone before her. My heartfelt condolences to Sandra, Gary, Mackey & rest of the family and friends. May God give you peace and the time to heal. Prayerfully with Love Pat

Dear Sandra and Gary, My Aunt Joyce "Sister" Gurley contacted me last night wanting to see if I could find out of your mother had passed away. I located the information on the internet. We are so sorry to hear of Jean's passing. Sister would love to contact you, but said she didn't have a number or mailing address. Would you mind forwarding that information to me? I believe Gary brought Jean to my mother's (Red Top) funeral in November. Jean looked so pretty, as she always. Again, we are so sorry for your loss. We are still dealing with the loss of our mother. They say it gets easier with time, but I am not sure about that. We will keep you all in our prayers. Sincerely, Miranda Johns Parton
