Beverly "Cup" Harbison

Beverly "Cup" Harbison, age 66 of Albertville passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026 at UAB Hospital. It is with heavy hearts that the family of Beverly Harbison announces her untimely passing after nearly a year long battle with cancer. Beverly didn’t lose her battle but instead she was welcomed into her Heavenly home by our ultimate healer. Beverly was born July 30, 1959 to James and Mildred Brooks of Albertville, AL. Beverly grew up in Albertville and was a graduate of the class of 1977 at Albertville High School. She was a majorette in the great Aggie band and it was here at Albertville High School where she met her future husband and love of her life, Kerry Harbison. After graduating high school Beverly and Kerry were married on March 4, 1978. Beverly and Kerry began their marriage in the Albertville area and shortly after moved to Opelika, Alabama. It is here where Beverly began her long career in banking. Eventually they relocated back to Albertville where they lived on the farm and began to grow their family and had their first child, a daughter named April. At 6 months pregnant they moved to Dallas, Texas where they welcomed their son, Adam. After a few years they moved back to Alabama and eventually settled in for over 20 years at Citizen’s Bank and Trust in Guntersville. Beverly and Kerry raised their kids and watched them settle into Marshall County with their own families. Beverly was a Godly woman who loved life and everyone in it. Beverly never met a stranger and was always welcoming to any guest that was fortunate enough to break bread with them. She thoroughly enjoyed her Sunday school groups and loved exploring Marshall County restaurants with Kerry and two of their best friends. Throughout her life many have been blessed to call her a coworker or a friend. All 5 of her grandkids were blessed to call her Nana. Her ultimate pride and joy, her children, were blessed to call her mom. And last but not least her husband Kerry, was very blessed to call her his best friend, his wife, and his “Cup”. Beverly is survived by her husband of 48 years, Kerry Harbison. Her children, April Bryant and her husband Matt and Adam Harbison his wife Kristan. Her grandchildren, Lainey and Lucas Bryant and Madison, Trinity, and Bentley Harbison. A brother, Mike Brooks, his wife Michelle and their family. A host of Harbison in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mildred Brooks. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to Tunnel To Towers Foundations or contributions to the family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Friends can visit with the family from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to Albertville Memorial Chapel.
